Compassion is the Fashion at inPhorm with Debut of New Equine Advocates Tee Shirts!
by Susan Wagner~
President and Founder of EquineAdvocates
Saad Hajidin is the Creative Director of inPhorm, the international collection of tennis, golf and activewear brand that he founded. Saad also has a great love for horses, especially one named Austin.
Saad first visited Equine Advocates Rescue & Sanctuary in 2016, where he formed a special bond with the former Standardbred racehorse. (And Austin’s fond of Saad, too, especially when he shows up with carrots.) The gelding had won a considerable amount of money during his racing career, but when he was injured and could no longer perform, his life was suddenly in jeopardy. He needed a safe home and Equine Advocates gave him sanctuary.
Saad became a sponsor of Austin and visits him regularly. As his interest in Equine Advocates grew, he offered to design a special tee shirt to benefit the organization. The end result is absolutely fabulous! These fashionable, high-quality tees for women are made with super soft micro modal fabric. This micro modal fabric is derived from sustainable beechwood fiber from an Austrian forest. The tees are available in white and black featuring the organization’s logo. They will be available for purchase at the end of March for $29. And coming soon are tees for men. To pre-order your tees, please e-mail Aanchal Jain at email@example.com
Many in the tennis world have embraced Equine Advocates. At the recent New York Tennis Expo, for example, we raised awareness of EA at the inPhorm booth and many attendees expressed interest and were generous with contributions.
Your Equine Advocate tee will support more than 80 beautiful creatures at the refuge: wild mustangs from the West; urban carriage horses from New York City; work horses, mules and buggy horses from Ohio and Pennsylvania; thoroughbred and standardbred race horses from New York, New Jersey, Ohio and Massachusetts; an abandoned donkey named Pensacola Pete from South Florida; abused miniature horses and donkeys rescued from petting zoos; former show horses; PMU mares from Canada (pregnant mares whose urine is used to produce a drug for human hormone replacement therapy), and others.
Equine Advocates is also a leader in the fight to save wild and domestic equines from extinction. This would include America’s remaining wild horses and burros who live on public lands out West, and 50,000 being held captive in holding facilities managed by the Bureau of Land Management.
These horses, an American treasure, have been federally protected since 1959, but some members of Congress want all protections removed to satisfy the greedy agendas of special interest groups. The herds would be sold for slaughter, freeing all federal land to “welfare ranchers” for grazing. And America’s wild horses will become extinct!
“We are so thrilled that Saad was inspired to create these truly amazing tee shirts for us. “They are not only chic and stylish but a testament to his immense talent as a designer. There’s a saying that goes, ‘Compassion is the fashion,’ and that certainly applies to inPhorm’s generosity. A portion of the profits from the sale of these beautiful tees will go toward our rescued horses here at the sanctuary. We are so grateful to Saad and his wonderful company for doing this.”
